ConnectPay

ConnectPay is a payroll services company where I helped to create a design system and worked on UX design projects. I had the opportunity to collaborate with a CX designer, product managers, developers, and marketing.

Two-Factor Authentication

To enhance security, ConnectPay implemented Two-Factor Authentication, which requires users to verify their identity with a code sent via text message or an authenticator app. My goal was to make this extra security step as frictionless as possible.

The users can be split into three groups:

  1. Existing users with two-factor authentication set up (Login, 2FA Entry)

  2. New users (Activation email, Reset Password, 2FA Enrollment)

  3. Existing users without two-factor authentication set up (Login, 2FA Enrollment)

I began the process with low-fidelity paper wireframes.

I coordinated with the developers to design a password requirements screen that matched the backend.

Employee Portal

Employee Portal Desktop View

Employee Portal Mobile View

The Employee Portal allows users to view their paystubs, upload and view forms, and manage time off. Additionally, the user can edit their profile and receive notifications. Employees need to be able to access the portal on the go, so it is designed to be mobile friendly and built using a mobile-first and responsive web development approach.

Admin Panel

This client onboarding and admin panel is designed to replace an earlier version to minimize confusion and improve data collection.

Control panel gives an overview of the status of each company and makes it easy to create bulk edits.

Information is gathered in less text-intensive screens with a progress indicator at the top.

Changes are saved automatically, and the user can go back or to the home screen at any point in the process.

The final deliverable for this project was a clickable prototype developed in Figma.
